This track is about friends :) I originally wrote the instrumental for my friend Andrew a year ago, however I recently decided to put vocals to it and it turned out a lot more special than I could've anticipated.
lyrics
Tell me these words you've read and the tales you found in these works of art
Bring back a piece you made of serenity and mend my heart
You face the world in front with two wide eyes and keep ahead on course
Look me right in the eye and tell me they're worth fighting for
Assemble me
And break me down
And I don't care if you love me I will stand my ground
Is a second chance even worth it if you can't make it work?
Floundering in solitude you'll never be worth more than dirt
A picture frame upon the wall beside your bed that you detest
A bed of thorns and broken memories you've made, was it for the best?
Break me down
